Geofford and I have finally made the plunge and we have purchased our first new house. It will be new for us, but the house was built in approximately 1987 and has two other owners prior to the two of us. It has four bedrooms upstairs (the master has a walk-in closet and an ensuite), a family room, living room, dining room and a kitchen with a eat-in area on the main level and the basement is unfinished (which is nice as we will be able to finish it as we like). The house is on a corner lot and is hedged on two sides. There are many trees in the front, so it is fairly private. The house has pretty much original everything (except roof and furnace), so we get to update and upgrade the house to our taste.
This will be a blog about our adventure making this house our home.
